Summary/Abstract: The idea of the 20th century is nothing more than a “critical archeology of the European self understanding”. One would not be wrong to say that it represents a string of endeavors to meaningfully remodel a “growing age” which sticks out of the European frames and backs out of European visions. Bringing them back, in such a way, into European cradles… It has been said that the new age is a final metamorphosis of the late Middle Ages inevitability into the experience of inevitability. The productive metamorphosis does not only evoke legibility, but it also reveals the land of productivity which guarantees every driving force… A man changed his position from a passive observer to an active participant in every event. The crisis was not eliminated by this, but a brand new possibility of its redirectioning and channeling emerged. This novelty has produced a modern idea of progress. Redirectioning and channeling are rational processes, and as such they do not escape “facing” the “side winds of time”, but they 9 neither tempt them through nor wake them up. One could say that they offer a possibility to amortize the crisis impacts. The amortization does not influence the strength of the impact, nor does it reveal that the impact has been eliminated, but it just states that we can take the blows…
