Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the cluster approach is also applicable in the sphere of services, especially in tourism. Clustering allows the increase of competitiveness of a national or regional tourism product, productivity and profitability of the industry. In addition, clusters stimulate innovativeness and cooperation between the main stakeholders of the industry. The article analyzes the theoretical basis and practical approaches in this area. Additionally, it describes different models of clustering in tourism and tries to propose a conceptual model for clustering in tourism in Armenia taking into account its peculiarities.
