The Refugee and Asylum Seeker Crisis at Turkey – Balkans Route (2011-2017)

Summary/Abstract: In order to understand the topic better and see the mistakes that appear in the literature, first, it is necessary to talk about a conceptual framework. After it has been made clear the difference between an asylum seeker and refugee concepts, in the context of the Balkans analysis the possible solutions have been presented based on national examples. In addition, the situation in other Balkan states has been analysed.The problems that are taking place in Balkans and International Communities,Unites Nations, European Unions and other aid organisations weaknesses have been argued from the perspective of the Turkey-European equation. Finally, in order to find a solution, Balkan asylum seekers crisis analysis has been made and crisis solution proposals have been presented.
