Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this essay is to indicate the big connection and the key role which the individual security and the human rights have in the big picture called international security. In order to feel safe and secure in my country I need to be assured that the country can provide me with all the mechanisms of objective justice, safety and equality in all the institutions. I am from a small country from the Balkans, called Macedonia, a country whose people are confronted with breached human rights and without а glimmer of democracy in their lives. Macedonia is facing a violation of the privacy of almost 20.000 of its citizens, non-government organizations, religious organizations, and it is happening because there is a small organized criminal group of politicians in the current government that are having financial appetites that need to be contented.
