Summary/Abstract: The article presents the issue of supporting learning in educational practice. The main aim is to introduce possibilities how to learn and teach terms. In the first part it has been presented the general review of the literature on learning concepts with particular emphasis on the theory of J. Piaget and J. Bruner. In the second part, referring to a coherent theoretical concept it has been made some indications for practitioners towards shaping the socio-educational class environment and supporting learning process. The conclusion of the paper is that the efficient learning supports results in following the gradation of difficulties, ordering new terms and combine them by category, arranging objects and events by showing its variations, pointing out the similarities and differences and emphasize their importance for specific life situations.
