Personal cyber-data: a new generation of personal data

Summary/Abstract: With the advancement of technology, especially on the Internet, human beings are entering new and more advanced tools and capabilities in the field of personal data processing. Modern data transmission technologies have for a long time been forcing a new approach to data processing and thinking, in order to be able to keep pace with the evolving reality. Within the framework of the existing concept of personal data, it is necessary to redefine the concept of personal data and to take into account that new categories of personal data are naturally created in the information society and, in addition to „traditional” personal data, a new category of electronic digital personal data is being developed.
