The Activities of the Local Government to Support Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Border – a Case Study of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Province

Summary/Abstract: Border cooperation of small and medium business is treated as a stimulator of the local economy. It supports the territorial integrity and cultural identity and shapes the competitiveness on the border. The activities of regional and local authorities are an important instrument of support. Those include the use of financial instruments, infrastructure, legal and administrative as well as those that are soft support. This stimulates local entrepreneurship.
