THE ROLE AND FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL ASSUMPTIONS OF DATA AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE PLATFORM IN INTRA-CLUSTER BENCHMARKING

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the role and functional and technical specification of data and information exchange platform for the needs of benchmarking partnership in cluster. The thesis of the paper is the claim that a multifunctional IT tool in the form of the benchmarking platform facilitates the transfer of knowledge and exchange of information about best practices between benchmark-partners in cluster. The main research methods are as follows: the analysis of literature sources and available internal materials of clusters and deductive reasoning. The most important achievements are: indicating the importance of the benchmarking platform in network benchmarking in the cluster and proposing general functional and technical assumptions of this IT tool.
