Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present job crafting as a modern method that allows to model own work and shows what challenges will have to be met by human resources management. The article is theoretical and based on literature studies. The first part of the article presents the importance of the work environment, in the context of the employee-organization match, and discusses the job crafting theory. At the end, the challenges presented by human resources management to the manifestation of behaviors aimed at creating one’s own work are presented.
