Professional mobility in the perception of Generation Y

Summary/Abstract: Nowadays great importance is attributed to flexibility as to this aspect, which is key for the functioning of the organization. A special area is professional flexibility. It presents the elements that relate to the possibility of free movement, retraining and further training of employees. Nowadays it is widely promoted and supported becoming part of the profile of every individual. It is of particular importance in the aspect of young generation known as Generation Y on today’s labour market. The purpose of this paper is to present professional flexibility in the perception of Generation Y on the basis of theoretical considerations and results of research conducted in this area.
