Summary/Abstract: SEM allows for multidimensional and multivariate precise empirical verification of research models taking the problem of causality into consideration. The aim of the paper is to present methods of developing research results with the use of modern advanced statistical tools such as structural equation modeling. Due to the research, the advantages and disadvantages of the presented method as well as the most frequently quoted examples of its use, were indicated in the work.
