Summary/Abstract: Financial services play a very important role. Active consumers in this market are characterized by a deficit of legal, marketing, economic and financial knowledge. Employees of financial institutions are guided by profit maximization, resulting in unethical actions. The aim of the article is to present the relationship between education and financial capability and the activity of clients on the financial services market. This issue is a part of a broader discussion on business ethics, especially the relationship of financial institutions with individual clients. The paper reviews the concepts related to financial education in the context of business ethics, related to finance ethics, performs desk research analysis on the relationship between clients’ activity on the financial market and the level of education. The analysis found that the activity of customers in the financial market, determined by the number of used products, is diversified. The presented results show that the highest activity in this respect is characterized by people with the highest education. This group of clients has also the highest level of confidence to financial institutions, which may determine their activity on the financial market.
