Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the issue of local entrepreneurship as an area of revitalization activities. It presents the results of quantitative research on revitalization in Poland. The main purpose of the paper is to present the opinions of representatives of the local authorities on the role of entrepreneurship in the revitalization. The article concern in particular the issues of including entrepreneurs in the planning and implementation of the revitalization process and the significance of economic goals in determining the directions of the revitalization change. The basic conclusion is that the municipal authorities are aware of the significance of the economic dimension of revitalization. Entrepreneurs are important partners in revitalization processes, but their involvement in public consultations for the needs of revitalization is perceived as difficult to implement, which results in a small share of entrepreneurs in the work of revitalization committees.
