Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze the consequences of introducing a new, innovative legal norm into Polish law on the example of housing deposit. The article also presents the history of housing deposit in Poland in the years 1959-2017, the issue of privatization of housing stock and repayment of housing deposit in the revaluated amount.
