Summary/Abstract: The article presents the functioning of the Polish real estate development sector. I discuss main factors influencing the behaviour of developer companies and analyse financial data of representative firms listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Finally, I delineate SWOT analysis of the real estate development sector and show long term potential for investment in real estate companies.
