Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on republishing the archaeological excavations made by Alexandru Popa between 1961-1962 in the Canton C.F.R. (Stația de Salvare area). From the six graves that had been identified, with only one exception (M. 5/1962), all of them are inhumation grave and can be assigned to Early Middle Ages period. The funerary inventory is quite modest: finger rings, hair rings, bracelets, necklace, tweezers (?), a knife blade and two ceramic pots. Based on the funeral rites and rituals (covering the graves with lithic and wood material, the position of the arms, the anatomical area where the pottery was placed) the inhumation graves can be dated in the second half of the 10 century.
