Summary/Abstract: The article puts forward several fragments of the memoirs of lawyer Traian Mârza (1909- 1992) from Alba Iulia who, as a child, participated in the national assembly from Alba Iulia, on 1st December 1918. His memoirs were written between 1981 and 1984 and comprise interesting information about Galtiu, the native village of the author, as well as the history of Alba Iulia town in the XXth century.
