Summary/Abstract: The article presents issues related to gender diversity in business management. The managerial skills of male and female sex are presented as discussed in Polish and foreign studies as well as the in author’s own research. Attention was drawn to the position of women in managerial positions on a statistical basis. The results of other authors' research and arguments for increasing the participation of women in management positions for gender differentiation have also been reported, which is conducive to the efficiency of enterprises. The reflections are complemented by examples of activities that promote gender diversity in businesses.
