Summary/Abstract: The Polish BPO and SSC sector is characterised by a fact that many enterprises from this sector come from countries representing North America or Western Europe. In practice, it means the inflow of knew knowledge, capabilities, know-how, procedures, innovative ways of acting and attitude towards challenges offered by the market. Thus, the transnational character of knowledge and practices is noticeable here. Meanwhile, it should be emphasized that many people employed in the BPO and SSC sector do not only play the role of an employee but also of a parent, and they try to combine both of them. The aim of this article is an attempt to answer the following research questions: what is the employment structure in the Polish BPO and SSC sector in the context of parenthood, and what activities concerning diversity management are targeted at employed parents so as to make it easier for them to play the role of a parent and an employee. The results presented in this article are based on secondary sources of information as well as primary ones.
