Summary/Abstract: In a narrow sense, diversity refers to employees, but in broad terms we can include all stakeholders of a unit. A stakeholder is, in fact „any group or individual who can affect or is affected by the achievement of the organization's objectives” [Freeman 2010, p. 53]. In the context of the diversity of stakeholders, their different relationships with the organization in terms of instrumental values, which can be used to identify stakeholders, should be taken into account. As shown by B. Burton and C. Dunn, the values and objectives of stakeholders reflect their diversity [Burton, Dunn 1996, ss. 277–288]. The purpose of this article is to present assumptions on relationship management in the context of stakeholder diversity. The author of the article presents the essence of diversity, lays out the concept of stakeholders along with the identification of the basic groups of stakeholders of a contemporary enterprise. The rest of the article identifies stakeholders of a development enterprise and identifies their different expectations towards an organization.
