Summary/Abstract: The theme of this article are innovative IT solutions in the urban space – analysis of selected concepts. The author presented practical ways of implementing the concept of urban management. The development of urban areas influences not only the innovative trend of the implementation of new solutions, but also to the quality of life of resident. They are today the most important integrator of cities for which are created innovative concepts of IT. The author based on the newly created concepts rearranges effects of the implementation in selected cities around the world and evaluates the effectiveness of the implemented concept. The use of innovative IT tools is aimed at constantly striving to improve the condition of urban areas with particular concern for the natural environment and the quality of life of residents.
