Summary/Abstract: The report entitled "Composite in Didactic gospel of Constantine of Preslav (preliminary observations)" seeks to trace how Constantine of Preslav translates the Greek compound words from their samples, compile basic work, symbolizing the literary boom of the Golden Age. For this purpose are identified and analyzed numerous composite formations in the text of the Didactic gospel with special emphasis on how many of them are full structural calques (transmitted adequately each member of the Greek composite), how are the partial structural calques (one element is an accurate translation and the other is a free delivered). Preliminary studies were carried out as to whether they are hybrid calques (translated is only one element and the other is borrowing), is there no Greek accordance composite and composite transmitting a Greek word (simplex). For this purpose are brought various examples of the surveyed instructive lectures. The presence of a composite is considered in conjunction with cautionary homiletic genre of essay.
