‘THE EVANGELICAL QUOTATIONS IN THE AUTHOR`S PARTS OF LECTURES IN THE DIDACTIC GOSPEL OF CONSTANTINE OF PRESLAV’

Summary/Abstract: Object of research in this article are evangelical quotations in author`s parts of the lectures in the Didactic gospel of Constantine of Preslav. The extracted evangelical quotations are compared to the same text in the classical Old Bulgarian evangelical manuscripts (Codex Marianus, Codex Zographensis, Codex Vaticanus, Sava`s book, Vatican palimpsest). The aim is to be determined by who / which of them a most close is and to which version of the Gospel can be assigned. The analysis traces the lexical, morphological and textological misprisions (additions, omissions, word order) Gospel verses in between Constantine's Gospel and Old Bulgarian Gospels, taking into account the Greek Evangelical tradition. These misprisions are distinctive for translation technique of Constantine of Preslav.
