Summary/Abstract: In the article the notion of presupposition has been considered: the options of presupposition typing and the selection criteria of presupposition as a single type implicit meanings have been described. The characteristics of particles and their role in the formation of different types of presuppositions have been presented based on modern Ukrainian discource.
