Summary/Abstract: E-commerce is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the Polish economy. However, not all industries are growing at the same place. The sale of food products is relatively poor. One possible way to improve is the implementation of proven solutions used by industry leaders (best practices). The aim of the article is to identify the best practices for selling of food products on the Internet by analyzing the Amazon Fresh service in the scope of logistic, organizational and marketing solutions. Research methods include a critical analysis of the documentation and the case study method. The research findings show that several good practices can be identified as a part of the Amazon Fresh service. Three organizational, two logistic and one marketing solutions were identified, which would be worth analyzing and implementing by Polish online stores.
