Summary/Abstract: The paper is taking the research problem of the interdependence between the implementationof measure 8.1 “Supporting the business activity in the field of the electroniceconomy” of Operational Programme Innovative Economy and the degree of thedevelopment of e-business, measured with the place of Poland in Networked ReadinessIndex ranking.Results of the study, covering the years 2009–2013 suggests that broadly speakingthere is a negative correlation between the analyzed program and the position of thePoland in terms of appropriate indicator of the Networked Readiness Index ranking.
