The Impact of Employment in the R&D Sector on Patent Applications in Lubuskie Region – Quantitative Approach

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of this article is to study the situation lubuskie province in 2010–2015 regarding to the employment in R&D sector and the number of patent pending applications. The study is based on the comparison the lubuskie regions and national data in the considered period. The statistical methods were used such as: the arithmetic mean and the correlation coefficient in the methodology of research.
