Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the figurative features of the concept “death”. The common theoretical principles of a national, language and cognitive world picture have been clarified and revised, the new empirical material has been analyzed. The lexical-semantic field of the concept “death” based on Ukrainian literature has been described.
