Summary/Abstract: Global conditions for the functioning of national economies in social-economic sphere show the need for enforcing the integration. Not only does it apply to blocks of countries within international organizations, such as European Union, but also to neighboring countries from outside organizations. Thus, different mechanisms of management constitute an issue. The paper is based on earlier research concerning the cross-border cooperation between Poland and Belarus which requires a follow-up. The aim of the article is to make an attempt to find tangential points and proportional differences in mixed economic systems which may constitute fields for the cooperation and development of the economies. Based on the literature review and the data analysis from scientific-research facilities as well as from statistical centers, the conclusion of possible improvements was made. It has been defined that the main stimulant for the Polish-Belarusian cooperation is a high level of openness in entrepreneurs which is based on trust and willingness to cooperate. On the other hand, the major barrier is legal regulations that disable free mobility of cooperators.
