Summary/Abstract: Evaluation of AEO program is the main task of this article. To achieve the research goal, author analyzed the changes made to AEO program by Union Customs Code, developed statistics for years 2009–2017, indicated trend in AEO program development and conducted indepth individual interviews with Polish entrepreneurs and customs administration. Completed studies allow us to conclude that the AEO program will become a must for reliable businesses, an essential tool in the process of building their competitive position in the international market.
