Polish Customs Authority in the implementation of innovative system of services for entrepreneurs

Summary/Abstract: Challenges of the XXI century, such as steady growth of international trade, the desire of companies to achieve economic success on a global scale, technological advances and innovative solutions in every area of business, set new directions for the development of service activities of the customs authorities. The author analyzed the innovative solutions in the customs system and defined benefits for operators offered under these innovations simplifications, which allowed to prove the evolution of the role of the Customs Service. Using modern solutions in the process of customs clearance, Customs Service contributes significantly to the competitiveness of business entities on the international market. Research method used in the study includes an analysis of domestic and foreign literature sources and the analysis of statistical data.
