Summary/Abstract: This paper researches the way that the history of Croatian literature presents Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The concept of the Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina is understood as a dynamic literary system which is co-created by works of writers of various profiles. Mostly it consists of writers who were born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or declare, or really are ethnic Croats. There are, also, the authors who write in the Croatian language (but also in other languages), and whose origins are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, or they live / used to live there. In the system of the Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to these historians of literature, are the authors who write about the themes of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as those who lived / worked in Bosnia and Herzegovina, despite the fact that their origins are not from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Works of those writers who felt that they belong to the Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina also play an important role in the framework of the Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For better understanding the Croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it is read in the selected literary histories, a great contribution can be made by its studying with regards to dynamic relations with narrowly understood „parent― croatian literature. It is also important to research the relations with literatures of Serbs and Bosniaks in BiH for better understanding of croatian literature in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
