Negative effects of digitalization or where the professionalism is going to?

Summary/Abstract: The most common attitude towards digitalization is positive – global communication, easy to create and share images, immediate access, etc. As most of the things it also has some negative effects which usually we realize after the initial euphoria passes. The analysis in this paper is focusing on the problem of professionalization and what is happening today with the original cinema professions and how the workflow has got changed by the digital revolution. All this has a direct impact on the final production we are witnessing now.
