A sociological Analysis of the Quality Management System in the Romanian Universities

Summary/Abstract: Although there is still a certain difficulty in moving from the principle acceptance of the importance of the domain (as a desirable social element) to its concrete operationalization in indicators, measures, levels, models and the specific issue of quality assurance in general and quality in higher education in particular is getting more and more ground in the local space as well. Into this article, we conducted a content analysis on the websites dedicated to quality management departments within all universities in Romania. The main objective was to identify the visibility level of departments for management or quality assurance. Complementarily, we also wanted to make an assessment of the level of insertionof the European standards (ESG2015) into the oficial web sites.
