Several comments on the Decree of the Polish Bishops’ Conference of 13 March 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data in the Catholic Church on the basis of the case study of a kindergarten

Summary/Abstract: This article contains several ex promptu written comments on the Decree of the Polish Bishops’ Conference of 13 March 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data in the Catholic Church on the basis of the case study of a kindergarten. The article discusses such issues as: the subject matter, material scope, simultaneity of the Regulation (eU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Coun- cil of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data in the activities of the public juridic persons, as well as the problem whether the Decree is in force ad poenam or ad culpam.
