Realization of fundamental moral virtues as a guarantee of effective socialwork

Summary/Abstract: The practice of social work today shows the important role of moral virtues in the fulfillment of life tasks. Therefore, the aim of this publication is to show from an ethical prespective fundamental virtues which are the imperative offruitful and effective social work. The most important moral virtues are respectof human dignity, responsiblity, love of a neighbour, mercy, justice, honesty,truthfulness and faithfulness. Other important moral virtues can be loyality,respect, kindness, wise discernment, generosity and solidarity. All these virtues which stand as the basis of the effective social work are taken into consideration in this publication.
