Family in the light of the good news.

Summary/Abstract: The family is today, in the second decade of the third millennium, in the media and information age, in the age of the gender ideology, in the age of divisions between the rich North and the poor South, facingmany challenges. Especially in the areas of cultural and civilization processesare new challenges, opportunities and threats for the family, for its values, dignityand vocation. The importance and significance of these threats to the familyseem to be still under‑represented,not only in the public debate, but also in theawareness of modern families. For this reason, it seems that it is worth askingquestions about the cultural determinants of contemporary family life and try tofind answers to them. In this article I try to do this in the perspective of the Pope Francis testimony and his concerns about the „little ones” of this world, which belong to millions of families all over the world.
