Summary/Abstract: In 1958, a school-reform began in the Soviet Union, which affected not just the Eastern Bloc, but the pedagogical discourses in the United States. The reaction can be found in the publicity of the US government, which is the main topic of my study. The first official US delegations’ reports to the Soviet Union made in 1958–1959, this is the starting point.
