PRELIMINARIES AND IMPORTANT MOMENTS FROM NĂSĂUD BEFORE THE GREAT UNION OF 1918

Summary/Abstract: The current study tries to surprise from Năsăud and the localities from this area the moments before the Great National Assembly held on December 1, 1918 in Alba Iulia,after which occurred the Union of Transylvania with Romania. A special emphasis is put on the work of Local Councils and National Guards, bodies set up to ensure public order during the turbulent period who characterized the end of World War I, and al soon the establishment of the delegations for National Assembly in Alba Iulia.
