Summary/Abstract: During the First World War 166 inhabitants of Nepos were mobilized in the Austro-Hungarian infantry regiments: the 63 Bistriţa regiment and the 32 Honved Dej regiment. The inhabitants of Nepos fought on the Serb, Galician and Italian front lines.9 of them lost their lives, 9 became disabled persons, 14 have been reported missing and 52 were injured or became ill. After the war, 10 women became widowed and 23children became fatherless.
