Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to show the existence of a correlation between the sense of voter electoral agency and electoral participation in Western Pomerania. For the purposes of this article, cities with poviat rights were analyzed: Koszalin; Szczecin and Świnoujście and juxtaposed with land poviats. The article presents changes in electoral participation in elections to the European Parliament in 2004-2014. The results were compared with the results of local elections in 2006-2014. An attempt was made to find an answer: is the level of electoral participation in the elections to the actual number of people constantly attending in the election? Can participation in the election testify to the subjective interest of the individual?
