Summary/Abstract: U.S. geostrategic interest for the Asia Pacific region is a constant of U.S. policy over two centuries. The region has always been the core of power and continues even today to have a global strategic and economic importance. Hillary Clinton said that a large part of the history of XXI century will be written in Asia. Watching the developement of the region and its influence on the global economy in last decades, we tend even more to agree.
