Diagnosis of the child with autism spectrum – symptomatology and therapy in the recommendations of Psychological and Pedagogical Counselling Centre

Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the most important issues associated with the diagnosis of a child with the symptoms of autism spectrum disorder. What is focused on is the diagnosis process and the recommendations of the psychological and pedagogical counselling centres. The situation of children with autism is still very difficult and differentiated. Autism is an advanced developmental disorder. Children with autism have serious problems with functioning in the social environment. The basic issues concerning symptomatology and therapy of autism are discussed as well.
