Summary/Abstract: Invoking Rimini Protocoll’s theatrical performance “Remote Vilnius” in this article the phenomenological experience aesthetics is analyzed, which creates preconditions for the experience of public urban spaces. Phenomenological experience is interpreted on the basis of Charles Baudelaire’s and Walter Benjamin’s flâneur concept and the nomad concepts of Gilles Deleuz and Felix Guattari. The flâneur definition is used to describe the sovereignty of the participants based on anonymity and bodily participation, and the definition of the nomad is related to the identity of the viewer demolishing individual experiences and such an internal desubjectification, in which a new form of self-perception/discovery is possible. It is argued that the insights of the abovementioned authors may be correlated with the phenomenological return to the objects themselves.
