Summary/Abstract: The European arrest warrant, as a form of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters, represents the most important instrument to achieve this cooperation and to implement the principle of mutual recognition of judicial decisions in such a complex area as criminal law.The growing desire of the Member States (of the European Union) to cooperate closely for free movement of decisions in criminal matters, is one of the most effective solutions to the free movement of criminals in the European territory.
