Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to reflect on the special justificative causes on the criminal offence of violation of privacy. We intend to set forth the legal limits to which the right to privacy - a social value - is protected. Even if this right falls under the protection of the European Convention of Human Rights, art. 8, it is frequently violated.
