THEORETICAL ASPECTS REGARDING TRAFFICKING IN HUMAN BEINGS IN THE LIGHT OF NEW CRIMINAL CODE’S PROVISIONS

Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of trafficking in human beings, as well as corruption, tax evasion, etc., is one of the most commonly known forms of crime, but also one of the most worrying for our society. The proliferation of trafficking in human beings, with serious damage at human, social and economic level has led to drastic rules of incrimination to be passed by Romanian and international law. Difficulties encountered in practice, as a result of persons trafficking regulations in many texts of law, justify the usefulness of presenting the amendments in this regard by the New Criminal Code - the texts of incrimination of trafficking in human beings have been systematized to facilitate an easier understanding and a better correlation with other texts of law.
