Summary/Abstract: By the novel Switches J. Musabegović is searching for an answer to the question: How it seems history seen through the eyes and the woman gets some sort on the basis of values that defines a woman? Objectification of meaning of historical events in women’s consciousness as a tight space where there are two modes of existence of otherness: an oath of loyalty is a rational paternal soil and unification with cultural self-image, and others - the downfall of silence as a plunge in maternal, unrevealed locations of the singularity (no man’s land). The first thematic plan includes those substantive aspects of the story in the novel Switches that support the dominant cultural model of women’s consciousness has already been accepted and adopted as a value which profiled female identity, as opposed to another (“no man’s land”) which is subversive wild female consciousness that produces opposition to the limits of identity.
