These changes have a negative impact on the pension system. The main problem discussed in this paper concerns the impact of these negative trends on the pension system in Poland in the context of the decrease of the retirement age from 67 years for all citizens to 60 years for women and 65 years for men, which is planned to enter into force on 1 October, 2017.
