Medical Contracts as a Specific Source of Financing Health Care in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses medical contracts as one of the sources of health carefinancing. Against the background of the range and organization of health care the sourcesof its financing were presented with special focus on medical contracts. The procedureof concluding contracts and changes in the methods and forms of their implementationwere analyzed. This allowed to formulate assessments of this form of financing medicalservices and outlining changes in this area.
